It is said that more than 80% of our sensory perception is based on visual information.

Therefore, we feel that what we see is absolutely certain, but the material world is ephemeral and uncertain.

The world is transient and constantly changing. Experiments in quantum mechanics show that matter exists only when we observe it. Maybe everything in this world is an illusion and nothing really exists. Buddhism and quantum theory are very similar. I am interested in cognition, Zen, and quantum theory, and this influences my work.

My work expresses the transience and uncertainty of the material world.

If what seems certain is an illusion and there is nothing in this world from the beginning, what is my consciousness and memory?

In my paintings, there are many motifs from manga, anime, and tokusatsu heroes. For me, childhood memories shine through. It is extremely personal.

They say that everyone sees colors differently. Red for me may not be strictly the same as red for others. Therefore, it is difficult for human beings to understand each other, and human beings are solitary beings. That may be why people seek others.

Only a piece of memory shines brightly, which already does not exist in reality. And memories are reduced and become vague.
